IJID Regions

IJID Regions aims to publish high-quality, evidence-based infectious disease science of regional interest and relevance. It seeks to enhance visibility of national and regional research, with a focus on those infectious diseases that are common in under-resourced countries and settings. The journal also welcomes studies on regions within developed nations. We publish research that can be utilized by national and regional health clinicians, scientists, health systems, and public health policy makers.

IJID Regions focuses on clinical infectious diseases, clinical epidemiology and public health. Publishing original clinical and laboratory-based research, together with reports of clinical trials and reviews dealing with the epidemiology, clinical diagnosis, treatment, and control of infectious diseases. We encourage authors to collaborate between institutions to ensure good sample size and firm conclusions. Prospective, randomised controlled trials are preferred over retrospective, descriptive studies.
